Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef
- 4 tablespoons Spanglish Asadero Carne Asada seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Paprika, to taste
- A little oil
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Refried beans
- Queso fresco
- Lettuce
- Avocado
- Red salsa
- 2 bolillo rolls
- Mayonnaise
Directions
- Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the beef.
- Season the meat with the Spanglish Asadero Carne Asada seasoning, salt, black pepper, and paprika to taste.
- Mix everything very well, then add the chopped onion and a little chopped cilantro.
- Stir well, cover, and let cook for about 20–25 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked.
- Slice the bolillo rolls in half and spread a little mayonnaise on each side.
- Toast the bread on a skillet until warm and lightly crispy on both sides.
- Assemble the tortas by spreading refried beans on the bread, then adding the beef, queso fresco, onion, cilantro, lettuce, avocado, and a little red salsa.
- Serve and enjoy these delicious tortas!
