Cheesy Poblano Steak Tacos

Ingredients

🌮 For the tacos:

  • Arrachera Steak
  • Poblano Peppers
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Fresh Orange
  • Fresh Lime
  • Spanglish Asadero Ranchero Steak seasoning
  • Onion (garnish)
  • Cilantro (garnish)
  • Delicious Salsa

🍅 For the salsa:

  • Fresh Tomatillos
  • Jalapeños
  • Serranos (for extra spice)
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Cilantro
  • 1 beer can
  • Maggi sauce
  • Spanglish Asadero Golden Garlic seasoning

Ranchero Steak

Directions

🌮 For the tacos:

  1. Squeeze juice from a fresh lime & orange on your steak.
  2. Season liberally with Spanglish Asadero Ranchero Steak seasoning.
  3. On a grill over high heat, throw your poblano peppers along with your steak and cook until your preferred doneness.
  4. Pull your steak when finished and let rest.
  5. For the poblanos, you want to blister both sides and then put in a bag to sweat for 10 minutes. (Peel the skin off your poblanos before the next step)
  6. In a skillet or pan over medium heat, add your cheese and top it with a poblano that’s been sliced in half.
  7. Once the cheese is nice and crispy on the bottom but perfectly melted on the top add it to a warm tortilla.
  8. Dice your rested steak and throw it on your tortillas along with the cheese and poblanos.
  9. Top with diced onion, cilantro, and the best salsa you ever had. 😉

🍅 For the salsa:

  1. In a skillet, with oil over medium heat throw in your tomatillos, jalapeños, serranos, garlic, and onion. Cook until everything is nice and blistered.
  2. Add everything into a blender along with your cilantro, Spanglish Asadero Golden Garlic seasoning, Maggie’s sauce, and one can of beer.
  3. Blend until your desired consistency! 😋
